One thing is for sure.most relationship that last this long don’t end up in marriage.the did has been done the best way to move on and overcome is to forgive and come to reality that he is gone.then try to make your next relationship definitive.

the best way to overcome it or rather revenge ,,is for you to get over it,,live a happy and fulfilled life ,pursue ur dreams/goals/aspiration,make it in life ,,prove to your Ex that ur happiness isn’t with him,,prove to your girlfriend that ur Ex wasn’t even good enough for you.The major objective here is for you to be happy .
