Good morning. I am 52 years old. I have being having issues with my uterus. Last week I visited the doctor. He told me they have to perform a surgery on me to remove my uterus in other prevent cancer in the feature. It’s a Major surgery. Am kind of scared and depressed.

Set your mind that the surgery will come and go and everything will be fine. It’s a tough spot yes, but a lot of people have gone through it and came out fine. Yours will be no different

Yeah, that is a major surgery. I’m always skeptical about such delicate surgeries in Nigeria. But that aside, I believe you’re done having kids, removing your uterus will only save you the stress and cost of taking care of any cancer that arises in the future for the rest of your life. Talk with your spouse, if possible consult another doctor and see what works for you. Take care
