I hate my Dad so much, I feel like killing him sometimes. I no longer see him as my father.
Since when I was a child and I started having memories, I have always seen my Dad abuse my Mom physically; beating her up and sending her out of the house. Sometimes the violence and sleeping outside also extended to us. As young as 6 years old, I and my siblings slept outside the house till he decided to open the door and let us in.

On countless occasions, he has threatened the life of my Mom and I and my siblings. I have thought of different ways to rid ourselves of him even to the extent of trying to commit him to a mental institution or psychiatric hospital, but my elder sister and Mom kicked against it. He makes us feel like we shouldn’t have been born, he complains about taking care of us and feeding us.

Did I mention that he was an alcoholic and a smoker( weed, cigarette, name it). Because of him, I know the different between cigarettes and weed.
Because of him, my relationship with the opposite sex is difficult. I kinda feel all men might turn out to be like him.

I have lost all form of respect for him and sometimes wish he wasn’t alive.
I need help because this is seriously affecting and damaging I and my siblings.

Please, help me.

So sorry dear for all the trauma. Please do not think of taking any one’s life, there are consequences. Your dad needs lot of help but also needs to be punished for the level of abuse and domestic violence inflicted on you, your siblings and mom.
My advice; if your of age, I don’t know your location but you’d need to report to the authorities or get someone out of your family picture to help you report the case. So this doesn’t escalate into a more serious issue one day.

You’re welcome, he could go to jail but that depends on if you do press charges. I’d advise you get a restraining order so he doesn’t get to beat you, your siblings nd mom anymore he needs to get help and see a therapist, your mum also needs to see a therapist so she can heal through every process. On a second thought you can get to someone you know your mom has a soft spot on to listen to and take necessary precautions. I pray you guys finally find peace and happiness in your home. Take care
