Maybe it’s just me, but is there a rule that says when a child is feeling unhappy or sad, that child must always go to the parents first and not “the parents to the child”. I mean, how do your parents observe a change in your countenance and behaviour generally and still somehow manage to validate their belief that “if a child is feeling unhappy or sad, if the child doesn’t walk up to the parents, then there’s no case”. Seriously? I’m really exhausted.
