Good day, Please I have an issue and I need proper guidance in order for me not to make mistakes.
I’m a student, currently studying civil engineering in my 4th year now by God’s grace.
My issue is that I have a passion for being a DJ and I always feel I’m not good enough for the civil engineering when it comes to studying and delivering, although my grades are ok(I don’t know how).
I just can’t concentrate when it comes to learning but if you put me in front of a controller and my system, I tend to do well.
My parents have complained about it and they just want the best for me but I don’t want to let them down because I’m sincerely confused.
Whenever I try to get serious academically, it lasts for maybe 3 days. After which I’m back to being a DJ.
My parents thinks I’m very intelligent because of my grades but they don’t know I’m suffering inside because of overthinking and confusion.
Please help!!!

Hello I don’t think you need to overthink, doing academic and DJ is not that difficult,they are functional at different time frames.trust me both combinations is key.

That’s your passion, more reason why you would excel more at that but having a qualification isn’t bad as well, just take the pains now for ur future pls. It’s better to have both than regret later.
