I have a brother that’s a drug addict. My mother(a single mother with 3 children) took him to 4 rehabs at this current time. We’re in debt to alot of people. I’m the youngest and still in my early 20’s but I’ve had to make so many sacrifices.
I haven’t gone to university since 2015 that I graduated high school, I don’t have friends or people to talk to, I’m indoors all the time I can’t go out, and I have immense anxiety and depression. I’m irritable and sad most of the time. I can’t remember being truly happy. I feel like I have no one to protect me or love me or show me care. My mother is too busy with debts and my brother that I feel she’s neglected me. I’ve had thoughts of self harm frequently and I’m just so exhausted. Emotionally.
The things that I used to do that made me happy, they don’t make me happy again.
And I don’t know what to do. I really just want this to end

Hi.please ending it is not the best option sometimes we need to take a rest.rest from our thoughts, fears, environment, and people around us.
Taking this rest might not solve it but it will help a little.

So sorry to hear what you are going through.
It’s not your fault. I think you should save yourself.
Your brother is taking most of the attention and opportunities with his addiction. But don’t resent him, don’t resent your mummy too. Have you tried talking to her that she has been neglecting you.
I think you should start by trying to leave the house to talk to maybe an old friend you lost touch with. You are important. Put yourself first
