I spoke to my father today about something very important to me, I knew he would be upset but I didn't expect him to lash out and call me stupid and ungrateful and a lot of other things. He was the one that said I could talk to him about anything and now that I have , he has shamed me and I'm afraid this has affected our relationship forever, I don't know if I can ever let go of this hurt.
