I am currently in a relationship of six years, we started off knowing individual’s genotypes where my partners genotype is AC and myself AA. Two weeks ago, I was praying and I suddenly felt the urge to go for another test. After the test from three different hospitals, it was confirmed that I am AS against our initial believe that I am AA. Now AS and AC can not marry because both are sickle cell carrier. Now I do not know what to do, infact I don’t even know how to tell my partner because it has been a long six years and we are planning to tie the knot this October. To now crown it all, my partner is above 30yrs of age. I’m so confused right now and it’s affecting my health. Even as I am typing this write up my heart is aching me.

Please what do you advice that I should do? Because I am thinking of not telling my partner to safe her from pain.
