Please I need your advice. I'm about relocating and my boyfriend is in another country. We've known each other since 2020, although there was a point we stopped communicating during the COVID-19 pandemic. We came back together again this year and have become very close with constant communication. Now he said he wants to settle down and I'm 27 and ready too. The problem is my mum and sis are insisting I travel and come back to Nigeria for the wedding. I just wanted to do a court wedding, so he will be able to join me later as a dependent. I'm just tired, they keep saying I don't know him enough, this is someone that cares for me like a younger sister, he is Godly and gentle. I have always prayed for a man like this, now it seems my family will be the issue for me. I'm just tired, I don't know why they can't just support my decision. Don't people meet their spouses online anymore? Why does it seem like I'm doing something wrong?
