This anxiety comes with tremor and severe sweating when I’m in the midst of people, In my teen days, i was so social and gained popularity through my talent. Fast forward to my 20s, everything died down, becoming so much of an introvert, I will be in class and know so the answers to many things and instead of answering, I opt to tell something beside me and they take all the glory. I tried self medication by reading on the antidepressant drugs about 2yrs ago, there was this severe reaction accompanied with it from imaginary insect movement to hair loss, because I had a fuller hair before the drugs compared to now. I need to reach my full potential and this factors has hindered this for years. As I write this in tears because I need help, I really do

I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been struggling with depression and social anxiety. It can be challenging to deal, but it’s important to know that self-medication is a common but ineffective way to cope with these issues.

One of the first steps you can take is to seek professional help. A mental health professional such as a therapist or psychiatrist can work with you to develop a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. This may include therapy, medication, or a combination of both.

In addition to seeking professional help, there are also things you can do on your own to manage your symptoms. Practicing self-care, such as getting enough sleep, eating well, and exercising regularly, can help improve your overall mental health.

It can also be helpful to connect with others who are going through similar experiences. Support groups or online communities can provide a sense of belonging and understanding and may also offer tips and strategies for coping with depression and social anxiety.

Remember that recovery is a process, and it may take time and effort to overcome these challenges. But with the right support and strategies, it is possible to manage your symptoms and reach your full potential.
