I am 19years old and I have a male childhood friend I had a crush on when I was 14 and he was aware of it. Now he's back and tells me he loves me, I don't want to loose my friend but I am in the uni and I don't need a relationship as a distraction which I told him about. I cut him off sometimes ago but we've started communicating now and he's still the same. Each time we chat he uses endearments like love and sweetheart and I can't even decipher what relationship we have. How can I go about this cause I don't want to loose my friend and a relationship isn't what I need now?
