I’m a teenager who doesn’t even know why she’s alive. I go through day-to-day activities merely as a chore, there is no excitement about anything. Last year, I broke up with my ex and almost immediately another guy got into my life, he helped me forget about my ex and we got into a relationship for months. He was a boyfriend, a friend, a confidant and all. I’m someone who keeps to myself, but I completely opened up to him and he left me abruptly because I wasn’t ready to do the things, he wanted me to do. I feel broken and all alone, I don’t have friends or anyone to talk to. I’m not living, I’m just existing. My spiritual life is a mess too, I can’t even pray for minutes. I’m really exhausted and fed up.

Hello friend,
I am sorry you feel this way. It is possible you feel so because you have not really been living life for yourself. Engage in activities you enjoy, focus on building new skills or career, start developing yourself in areas you know you need to improve on. Also, it is best if you don’t go into any relationship now; its important you heal and find purpose so you don’t go into a relationship with the perception that your partner will complete you or make you feel better about yourself. Socialize and meet new people, try not to isolate from people or activities that give you closure,
Seek counselling from a trained specialist if you need help navigating through this situation and the emotions you feel; remember that wanting assistance doesn’t mean you are incapable of handling it your way, it shows you are wise to know when to seek the counsel of others.
Healing is a process that you don’t need to rush; with the right support you can get through this and come out stronger.

I am really sorry to hear this and I know it must hurt to continue living life this way without a clear sense of what the future might hold.
However, I want to remind you that this is a safe space for you and the courage to open up like this and share your burdens is actually the first step in the healing process.
I want to reassure you that you are heard, felt, and listened to and no one can tell you otherwise at this moment.
You are already a winner and you have the power to be whoever you want but you have to first believe that you can overcome this and every other thing will fall into place.
You are a diamond so continue to shine bright.
