My boyfriend broke up with me twice. I have this theory that if i do the break up I’ll regret or I’ll feel guilty so i let him do it the second time now i feel like a dunce.

I empathize the struggles you are going through right now. The emotional impact of a breakup can be extremely difficult. It is quite normal to feel many kinds of emotions, including regret and guilt. The decision to end a relationship can often be influenced by plenty of issues, and it is vital to remember that relationships are complicated as well as varied.

While having regrets or feeling guilty is totally acceptable, it’s also essential to give yourself the time and privacy you need to process what happened and move on. You can reflect on your feelings which will ultimately allow you to heal in a more peaceful and healthy way.

I don’t have regrets or feel guilty since i wasn’t the one that broke up…. What I’m saying is… i feel like a mumu for letting him do it to me a second time. Imagine someone breaking up with you twice and both times you weren’t at fault. I did absolutely nothing. They just didn’t have the capacity to love me just as i loved them

It is normal to feel this way. especially when you know you deserved better but kept giving your partner the chance to change or hoped he will learn to respect and treat you better.

You are allowed to feel hurt or angry about how the situation turned out, it is only natural. Allow yourself to grieve, acknowledge the emotions you are feeling, work on them; heal and grow from your experiences with the support of close friends, family members or a guidance counsellor you will be able to manage the situation and improve your emotional wellbeing.
