Hi, good evening. I’m scared to fall in love. I don’t have any trauma or such, it’s just me. It’s all in my head, the fear of opening up. I actually use sarcasm to deviate whenever I’m asked about my relationship status. It’s not like I’ve dated or had any past fling. It’s crazy but I’m just scared. Maybe it’s because I don’t find them attractive? I’m a female in case you were wondering. Or I guess it’s my smart mouth that pushes people off when I see they’re getting too comfortable with me. But there was a guy I once liked, but he’s been mean recently.

He said some harsh words and I also gave him karma because I can’t let him hurt my feelings and get away with it. But I felt bad after I sent the text to him and I apologized, because it was my fault. I was clingy I guess because he was like the only male friend I did have; the rest are infatuated with me. I apologized today again because I felt bad for what I did. Goshhh….long talk, sorry. I’m thinking of trying the dating life though but no rush. Who knows what’s waiting?…

It’s completely okay to have fears and reservations about falling in love or opening up to others. Everyone has their expectations when it comes to relationships, and there’s no right or wrong way to approach it. It’s great that you are reflecting on your feelings and considering the possibility of dating when you are ready.

It’s important to keep in mind that relationships should be based on communication, trust, and respect for one another. before sharing your weaknesses with another person, it’s equally necessary to feel at ease with yourself.

When it comes to love and relationships, it’s completely okay to take caution. The most important thing is to be honest with yourself and your emotions. You can start exploring dating life when you’re ready and look for someone who values and respects you for who you are.
