My husband and I have been together 23 years dating for 8 years married for 15. In the last 2 years, with his encouragement I have gone back to school doing 2 diplomas while working.
This year he has become so distant and now he wants a separation , apparently he needs his space,he full responsibility for the breakdown of the marriage,it’s just that we have drifted apart, while I have been working hard studying 2 courses and dealing with children including a special needs child.
I just want to scream ,how does someone switch from being your support to being part of your pronlems.

I’m really sorry to hear that you’re going through such a challenging time in your relationship. People can change over the years, and sometimes, even the most supportive individuals may go through personal changes that lead to relationship difficulties.
It’s important to communicate openly with your husband about your feelings and concerns; to help the conversation and work through your concerns as a couple, take into consideration seeking out a couples therapist’s guidance. It’s possible he has a lot going on with him too.
It important to also take care of yourself during this time, seek support from friends and family also, understand that people or relationships can change over time, and that you can find solutions or decide on the best choice of action for both of you by making an effort and showing understanding.
You deserve a partner who is willing love, support and to also stick by your side even when situations get tough.
