Basically I live in my head, been trying to move on with a relationship that ended 2 years ago. And every damn day, I still think and overthink about her.

It’s frustrating at this point, they have moved on so easily, I struggle too. It’s like I don’t mean anything, or was anything to them.

I’ve tried severally to not think of them, but I end up doing so, particularly when I see her and then have that rush of thoughts and emotions. It’s hard not gonna lie. And it’s eating me deeper.

I just want to talk to someone about this.

I’m sorry to learn that you’re having such a difficult time. It’s common to feel plenty of emotions after a breakup, especially if it seems like the other person has moved on more readily. Breakups may be quite difficult. It’s necessary to accept your emotions and give yourself time to grieve and recover. It takes time to go through the process of moving on from a relationship.

Talk to friends, family, or a therapist about your feelings. Sharing your thoughts and emotions with someone can provide you support. Also, limiting contact or unfollowing your ex on social media will help ease the emotions you are feeling.

Take care of yourself physically and emotionally. Try to relax, focus on your wellbeing and engage in activities that you enjoy. Remember that healing is a gradual process, and it’s okay to take the time you need.

I can’t find the right words to use other than the fact that I completely understand you and maybe even more. I’ve been there and I can’t lie that I’m still not. And each time I do that I feel so stupid and look like a fool for still even remembering their names not to talk of moments despite the hurt but I would say give yourself the space to grieve and heal as much time as you need but all in all, never stop investing in yourself cus you are all you’ve got the world will move on and it’s ok but you’ve got to move eventually. I can only hope it gets better for you.
If you would like a pen pal, I’m here dear friend.
