I'm currently in a very complicated relationship, it's about 10 months relationship and I already proposed to her after 6 months in the relationship and planning wedding for October. I have tried to put together different stories she tell me about her life and family but none is connecting, as blurry as that I didn't care but what's frustrating me is her attitude, her behavior and her temper and also her lies. just in these few months of relationship I have spend nothing less than 4 million naira on her. the one that got me looking for therapy to help me make a final decision is that today I send her a hundred thousand naira and what I get from her is shouting, asking me what she want to use it for, she went ahead telling me to send her my account number that she want to transfer the money back to me and this is the same person I sent more than 300 thousand to in Easter because she said she wants to go visit my family in Benin and 250 thousand again just last week friday because my brother was coming to visit and stay few days with her. badly enough is that anytime she get me so mad like the one she did today telling me what I want her to do with 100k and I get made and told her I want to break up, she beg and beg and cry and cry until I come back to her. this is just a summary and preamble of what I'm going through with her which is why I'm looking for a therapist to help me and deal with this issue before I enter what will or might eventually make me commit suicide.

1 year agoHey There Mike, in every relationship communication is very important. I would suggest you have an honest and open conversation with your partner; talk to her about the issue you have been observing in your relationship, talk about the family stories and why you both may need to consider cutting back on the spending. Remember, it takes two to make it work and with a proper conversation and the willingness to work it out from both of you, there's no issue you can't resolve. You may also want to consider talking to a counselor who can help give you better guidance on how to handle this situation.

thank you for your advice, a counselor is really what I am seeking now because there's no amount of communication we haven't had and nothing is changing.

actually am not in a relationship but I think you should let her go and find the best person for u,once you commit suicide she does not care. she will move on with her life while the dead is gone

people don’t value what they have until the loose it….. so many people are out here looking for love everyday and we can’t find and you on the other hand is in love and your still not happy
