Good day,

I have been going through a lot for the past 15 years of my life. I’ve been going through depression heartbreaks and insults from family and friends. Recently, i started dating a guy for 3 months we were happy until we started having issues only to find out he has been dating a girl for the past one year.

And, when I confronted the guy about it, he told me he is willing to leave her for me, which he did. Then I found out last month that they came back. He is telling me he does not want our relationship anymore and he is not happy with me. I’ve done so much for him that he does not appreciate both financially and otherwise, he blocked me on every social media platform and I can’t reach him through the phone. Now, I really don’t know what to do and my family treats me like I don’t even belong here. They don’t love me enough to know that I’m not happy and I’m in pain.

They always scold me for doing anything be it good or bad. They keep comparing me to my younger sister who does everything and anything for money; they always leave me out on every family occasion and because of that I have been dealing with depression. My whole life, I have been holding so many things on my mind and heart. I’m scared to let it out because they won’t understand me. So pls I really need ur help.

I am really sorry you are going through this. Try to prioritize yourself and do not be afraid to seek assistance. Everyone needs somebody to listen to them, consider talking to a listener or therapist who can help you cope with your emotions. Stay friends with people who are good for you and distance yourself from the toxic individuals. Consider writing about your thoughts or emotions. It’s important to create boundaries with people who have wronged you in one way or another.

Engage in things that make you happy so that you are able to think about the positive things about yourself. Also, set some goals for the future and then try step by step to reach them in order to have something to strive for in life. You deserve to be understood, appreciated, respected and loved appropriately.
