My friend worked in an office where she had twin colleagues. Male twins. They were both really amazing people according to her but different nonetheless. She got attracted to the older twin and was really close the other too. But the younger twin said he didn't wanna spoil things with a relationship so she zeroed her mind on the older twin. The younger twin was a bit complicated. In her words, she always felt the need to be there for him. Like protect him from the world, sorta. He had feelings for her but because of the whole conversation about not spoiling things, she started things with the older one but still maintained a very good relationship with the other. The younger one finds out she's in a relationship with his twin and gets upset that she betrayed him. Even though it wasn't entirely her fault, she feels super guilty and very horrible. They've both stopped communicating cos he said he wanted to move on but she misses what they had.
