My mother never covered herself around us. I don't know how normal this. I am kind of a late bloomer sexually and have never been too curious about the female body, and when I began to question this it occurred to me why. She has always been like that, and it did not seem like a big deal in my childhood, but now I wonder if that was the best thing to do? Am I overthinking this? Help.

8 months agoYou are not overthinking, but rather gaining insight into how your childhood experiences may have influenced you. It's possible that your mother's comfort with her body in front of you didn't prompt curiosity because it normalized the human body in a non-sexualized way, but if it's causing you confusion now you may want to consider talking to a therapist. Has this influenced your view on the body, boundaries or sexuality?
