To register a Truthshare.com account all you need is a username and password. To protect your anonymity we recommend choosing a username that does not include any personal information such as your first or last name.
When you submit a public post to Truthshare.com we save a record of the title, the main text, and the date and time it was submitted. We also make a note of how many times it has been read, reported, and if you chose to enable commenting.
Finally, anonymous posts to our Share Your Story Page can be posted on our social media handles like Instagram, Facebook & Twitter. Also on our podcasts and on our email marketing campaigns.
That’s it.
Our database contains no further information that could allow us, the website owners, to know who wrote a specific post.
This does not mean that you are untraceable. For example, your browser, ISP and some government level security agencies may record information relating to your internet activity.
No personally identifiable information is collected when leaving a comment at Truthshare.com. If you leave a comment while logged in it will be associated with your user account.
