Good evening, I read a story about a lady whom her mum provide everything while her dad did nothing and can’t support a guy with 100 naira coz of this. Sigh, I’m also from a broken home like dis. I’m a lady of 28 years. I grew up knowing my mother as the sole provider of our family, my mum did practically everything to cater for us, from feeding to clothing to just name it. My dad can give me 8k from my school fees this term and dats all, after secondary school to institutions, same thing. It was when we had to pack out to rent a room he knew we were suffering and it wasn’t because he didn’t have money, my dad had money, he was an engineer buh decided to spend his money on alcohol. To cut d story short, I grew up having d mentality of not waiting for any man to spend on me,i grew up with d view dat it’s a woman who spend on her children,I don’t know how to ask of things from people, I suffer myself dan to ask of things I lack from people. Not to bore u with my story, I got married along d line, but my husband makes me understand that if I should leave a dime at home, it’s not my responsibility buh rather I only borrow him d money which he do refund. My husband doesn’t have much, he’s earning 35k monthly buh still do his role according to how e have it.He keeps changing me coz he knows d type of family I grew up from and dat I can behave anyhow anytime without any reasons. I have a lot to type but I don’t want my story to be too lengthy. I hope dat lady see this post and never think most guys r out there to milk us, our men, husbands, boyfriends and fiancée also need support, Dey gets tired. So if dey should ask of things from us doesn’t mean dey r lazy or don’t want to spend, it means Dey need assistance. Yes, dere r guys who r stingy in nature but we shouldn’t let what we passed thru determine our future.

Thank you for sharing. Truly, it is important to know that not every man is selfish, and women can sometimes help their husbands out when they are down financially.
