An action that says Ill of ones physique.
Body shaming can be internal and external.
Internal when we bodyshame ourselves and external when others body shame us.
External body shaming leads to internal body shame and internal body shame leads to depression, comparism, unhappiness, low self esteem, lost of value and worth, cheap mindset and lots more.

Internal body shaming can also be cause by what we see on social media which makes us to feel we are not like this person or that person.
Some people can’t post themselves because they think they are not good enough, that is as a result of internal body shaming that comes from comparism, what we heard or see.
The side negative effect of body shaming is high, alot may because of body shaming decide to work on themselves but it takes alot of courage to see it in a corrective direction, even those who body shame others are in one way or the other not complete.

Body shaming can also be seen as a defense mechanism which people use to Attack our self esteem’ trying to use any aggressive way to win you over an argument or pay you back for humiliating them.

The fact remain that you are you and you can work on yourself but giving too many meaning to little things makes the mind to be filled with negativity that will become a reality in your life which will affect your daily activities.
Whenever you see yourself in this condition, what you should do is👇

Confront those who perpetuate body-shaming. Once you’ve become more aware of your own body-shaming behaviors, you may notice how often your friends, family or co-workers do it. Talk to them. Discuss why it bothers you and help them see how it may also be hurtful to them.

Find something (or things!) you LIKE about your body. We spend so much time witnessing advertisements about how to make our eyelashes millimeters longer and how to get whiter teeth that it’d be nice to counter some of that by celebrating what we do have.

Maybe, despite your body image struggles, you love a new hairstyle you discovered. Maybe you’ve noticed how much stronger you feel with balanced eating. Find something physical or nonphysical that makes you YOU and celebrate it every day.

You also need to replace your thoughts with a healthy thoughts.
In summary,if it is more than you can chat with a counselor.
