Good day love! I’ve met many people who face this and I used to tackle such problems physically. But as I became a counsellor in church and a wife to an amazing minister. I realised that some habits we struggle with and often beat ourselves up for are controlled spiritually. Determined by what spiritual authority is in charge of your territory.
The first step is seeking change which is what you’ve come to do, because you’ve found you don’t like the adverse/negative effects masturbation is having on you. I’ll advice
1: Find something to fill your life with. Could you be using masturbation as an escape?
2: Call on the Lord almighty. I don’t know if you’d be willing, but with regards to this, if you’re willing to say once everyday:
“Jehovah M’kaddesh, Lord my righteousness, King of Kings. I invite you into my situation.”
What you find difficult to overcome. God will overcome for you.
This was something The GO of RCCG said He did. whenever he faced temptations.
He called on God his righteousness. God who sanctifies. As is the meaning of the name of God above.
And I believe, that the Lord who wants nothing but peace for us will come into your situation and turn it around for good in Jesus name!
