Ok. I have a girlfriend who is in school and studying pharmacy. She like socials a lot. She has over 5k friends on snap. I told her I don’t want another guy getting a con mover station out of her and I’d appreciate it if she kept her distance from other guys. (Mind you, everything I tell her, I practice it myself and she can confirm it) I really love her but recently she said she wanted to go fo a dinner party and she invited me but life happened and I couldn’t make it anymore but yet she still wanted to go for this dinner date that was supposed to be held in an hotel and she told me she’ll sleep over that she will sleep alone and I persuaded her not to go because I don’t feel comfortable with it. I could easily plan us a dinner date another time. Now there is convention for pharmacy students from all schools but it’s isn’t compulsory. She expressed her interest and I thought about it, the event had a program of night parties everyday. That is nowhere for a girl in a relationship to be. She asked her mom and her mom said she could go and she explained to me that it was important to her and I told her that I wasn’t cool with it but she could go. To cut the long story short, yesterday she gave her number to a random guy and I asked her she apologized and said it won’t happen again. Today a random guy texted her and she saved his number and was literally spearheading the conversation. Asking him his name, his tribe and literally sending stickers and emojis. I’m not insecure but I just don’t appreciate my woman doing all that. I respect you and I do not do those things to you but all she could say was that he is a senior colleague and that it is impossible for her not to talk to any other guy and if he starts acting funny she will tell him she has a man. I’m really broken rn . Sorry if my English is bad l. I just want to know if I’m just being insecure

It’s understandable that you have concerns about your girlfriend’s interactions with other guys. It’s important to have open and honest communication with her. Setting boundaries and making sure you both feel comfortable with them in your relationship is what’s needed to help your relationship.

It’s not necessarily insecurity; so talk to her about your concerns and worries, and try to come to a mutually beneficial arrangement. In any relationship, communication and trust are important for you both to continue to grow in love.
