Most times guys in this part of the world don’t like things coming to them easily .thus when ever a girl meet them dey always take her for granted.so try as much as you can to keep your self respect

He might not feel the same but I will advice that you should be brave and walk up to him that you were confused, that you mixed the meaning of best friends up so he wont disrespect you. If he feels the same, you will surely know.
