I had been hurt several times .I felt like not getting married anymore and be single mom for life.
I came from a broken home. I grew up with my mom n step dad. So I had other siblings. My mom was never happy in her marriage. She always complain about my step dad not providing enough for the family and how he uses his money to spend on his mistress. I grew up seeing my step dad abuse my mom and so I hated d ideal of marriage. Whenever I am in a relationship I got scared dat he might stop loving me and also abuse me. At age 23, I met a different kind of man. I fell in love him. He loved me too, so he asked me marry him which I gladly accepted by then I was in ND 2. So he said during my I.T we shall get married but along d way I got pregnant. So he promised to be fast about d traditional marriage rite since I am 2months pregnant. As the pregnancy got to 4months. I pleaded with him to come and do the marriage rite but he refused saying dat there’s no money for it that after I gave birth Then, we shall do the marriage proper. When I was due to give birth, he told me that there’s a business he need to travel for that he shall be back b4 I give birth. Not knowing he was abounding me to go and marry another girl from his town. After 5years he came back apologizing for running away when I needed him dat his dad had already perpare a girl for him to marry and he could not say no to his father. I wept bitterly then, I went into depression but thank God for my mom and siblings who help me go through it. Now I had entered into five different relationships nor last, nor lead to marriage. I got scared if the relationship is getting serious, I back out. Some say they can’t settle down with a single mom. Now I am 33 years and alone, . I Don’t have any man in my life. I am just not interested in any relationship again, I Don’t want to be disappointed again. Am scared. Can I find true love again or I will remain a single mom to the end of my time.
